Lobster BLT

Prep time: 15min - Cook time: 20min - Total time: 35min
Serves: 4ppl


2 ½ cup cooked lobster meat, chopped

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

2 tablespoons chives, chopped

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon chopped celery

8 bacon slices

4-5 lettuce leaves

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

4 brioche rolls, split

1 tomato, thickly sliced

Salt and freshly ground pepper


  • In a medium bowl, whisk the mayonnaise with the lime juice, chives, paprika, celery, and melted butter. Season with salt and pepper, mix in the chopped cooked lobster meat. Refrigerate until chilled.

  • Cook the bacon: in the oven at 400 for 20 minutes, until crispy. Or in a skillet over medium-high heat, until crispy, about 7 minutes.

  • Preheat a grill pan or skillet. Spread the butter on the cut sides of the rolls.

  • Place the buns cut sides down over moderate heat until toasted, about 3 minutes. Transfer the rolls to plates.

  • Place the lettuce on the bottom bun, top with the lobster mix, tomato, and bacon.

  • Serve imminently.
