Asian Inspired Chicken Lettuce Wraps

A one-pot wonder, this P.F. Chang copycat lettuce wrap will make eating healthy at home easy! They will become your favorite low-carb dinner option. The sauce packs a ton of flavor with a little spicy kick from the Sriracha. You can also use ground beef or turkey instead of chicken.

Serves: 4ppl

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground chicken

½ cup hoisin sauce

3 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

1 tablespoon Sriracha

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium onion, diced

1 garlic clove, minced

1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

1/2 cup water chestnuts, drained and diced

2 green onions, sliced

Salt & Pepper, to taste

Large leafy lettuce (leaves separated), for serving

Directions:

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add ground chicken and cook until opaque and mostly cooked through, breaking up meat with a wooden spoon.

  • Add onions, garlic, and ginger and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.

  • Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, and vinegar stir until well incorporated. Lower the heat to low and cook for 3 minutes.

  • Stir in chestnuts and green onions, cook until tender, about 2 minutes.

  • Taste and season with salt and pepper.

  • Scoop chicken mixture into the center of each lettuce leaf. Serve immediately.
